I added original English lyrics to “To Zanarkand” from FINAL FANTASY X and brought them to life with an AI-generated vocal.
The lyrics were inspired by the world and atmosphere of FINAL FANTASY X: a city sleeping beyond memory, familiar laughter returning across the water, pyreflies rising over ancient stones, and a farewell that continues to echo long after the journey ends.
While preserving the quiet beauty and sorrow of the original melody, I tried to express the feelings of losing a treasured place, parting from someone dear, and carrying an old melody into the future.
I hope both longtime fans and first-time listeners enjoy this new interpretation of “To Zanarkand.”
